For more than 745 days, Ukraine has been on the defensive and protecting its territorial integrity from the russian invasion.

All this time, the occupying forces continue to shell the border areas of Sumy region. Without exaggeration, hostilities continue in the border areas, which pose a real threat to both servicemen of the Defense Forces and the civilian population.

The enemy uses all available weapons of the invading army: artillery, aviation, drones. A rather serious threat is the criminal activity of sabotage and reconnaissance groups of the enemy, which are active along the entire section of the Ukrainian-russian state border in Sumy region. In addition to conducting reconnaissance and identifying weak points in Ukrainian defense, the enemy's sabotage groups are trying to intimidate the residents of the border areas and spread panic due to their actions.

Border guards, who perform tasks as part of the Defense Forces, take all measures to counter enemy saboteurs effectively. In order to fulfill the assigned tasks better, countersubversive groups are constantly trained. The border guards work out all possible elements to identify and neutralize enemy groups that try to cross the state border of Ukraine and penetrate into Ukrainian territory.

The main goal of the exercises is constant readiness to face such threats.

The border guards, together with their comrades from other units of the Defense Forces, continue to give a worthy rebuff to the russian invaders, constantly demonstrating their effectiveness in neutralizing enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups and protecting the Ukrainian border.
